2. Abstract & Key Contributionsβ
Abstractβ
Modern enterprise organizations face significant hurdles when operationalizing autonomous large language model (LLM) agents within production environments. Traditional single-agent script architectures suffer from tool coupling, unconstrained action spaces, context saturation, and lack of deterministic safety guardrails. In this work, we present Console V2 (Weave), a multi-tenant process-centric agentic platform designed to execute business processes composed of versioned step graphs, modular skills, registered tools, and human approvals.
Console V2 establishes the Process as the primary unit of workβa versioned directed graph of 20 step types executing across a validated state machine. Rather than relying on autonomous agent personas, process steps invoke capabilities from a standardized tool bus (29 registered tools) and centralized skill registry (~95 domain skills). We detail the system's execution runtime, pluggable vector memory substrate, out-of-band policy engine, and empirical findings from real-world prototype deployments.
Key Contributionsβ
- Process-Centric Agentic Architecture: Formalized the execution of business workflows as versioned graphs of steps, decoupling workflow logic from capability invocations.
- Decomposition of Vertical Personas: Demonstrated the operational benefits of decomposing monolithic agent silos into reusable first-class skills and registered tools.
- Deterministic Out-of-Band Policy Interception: Validated sub-10ms deterministic guardrails that prevent unauthorized external actions without relying on probabilistic model self-censorship.
- Resilient Memory Abstraction: Engineered a pluggable memory provider line isolating runtime execution from vector database availability.
- Fail-Closed Multi-Tenancy: Implemented strict tenant cascade filtering and lightweight authentication principals.
